These installed well and the threading felt solid while being inserted. A simple pedal, they accepted strapless toe clips easily.
The berings are exposed so I would suggest oiling them before installing them. Then through their lives as needed.

Some pedal replacements that are described as universal will only fit 9/16″ threads. Many, if not most adult comfort bikes have 1/2″ threads. This pedal fits those adult comfort bikes without using the adapter.
Even the little things were helpful. The shafts are marked L & R on the end which is helpful. Nicely packed with holes in the package to differentiate between 1/2″ and 9/16″.
I have no idea how sturdy the pedals will prove to be, but they seem to be a good value.

These were for my wife’s bike. She has always been an avid rider. Now at age 65 she is doing a 2 day trail ride. She has this type peddle on her street bike. They give her the ability to lift with one foot while pushing down with the other. This gives her more power for the trail.
Total time to remove old peddles and install and adjust 10 minutes.
And yes, she has put them to the test while training. She loves them!!

I broke the pedal off my spin bike and replaced it with a pedal from an old bike that didn’t have a cage. This meant I had different push/pull between my two legs because one had a cage, the other didn’t. Getting these new ones installed has been great. They seem like good quality and we’re really easy to install.
