We have young grandkids and our paddles were taking a beating. This STIGA set is a nice value. The rubber is pretty “grippy” and the blade itself is solid. Play is a little firm but I think that’s because the foam is thinner than on a high-priced paddle.

This is good starter set for a ping pong table. The paddles 5 layer, you can get some good digs and spins and the ping pong balls are 3 star.

I paid 25 bucks for this kit. Anyone who complains about “strictly for beginners” and giving a low rating…uhh…duh…a half decent SINGLE pro paddle is going to be at least 2-3 times as much. For 25 dollars it’s a solid set. The orange balls have less bounce which is great for people who play a lot harder. Can’t go wrong picking this set. Four pretty good beginner paddles, 6 balls. Anyone who’s saying “not worth it” is just being an elitist. I needed a kit I could beat up with my beginner friends and it’s a better set up than most places that have ping pong, unless you’re going to a table tennis club, in which case. It’s the best deal for someone looking to get into the sport or not wanting to spend 100+ dollars.

This is a nice set of four paddles and balls. They are good for beginners. Unfortunately, while shopping at a local Meijer store, I saw the same set for a lower price than offered on Amazon.

Since my son is the beginner, I bought this cheap paddle . It is not good quality but it is not break easily as other reviewers mentioned . We did drop or hit the table few times but it had no damage. Since I don’t expect it has good quality with the price , I just need to take care little bit , not banging too hard and leave it outdoor under hot weather . Hope it will keep the paddle longer .

Bought this set to replace very old aging paddles that were handed down to us. The paddles are very nice. They are lightweight with a comfortable feel and good padding. However there is no curvature which advanced players may want. For beginners this set is perfect and the balls are also a good value. This company is known for table tennis equipment which is why I bought them, you cannot go wrong.
