This was really big. Much bigger than I thought. It took 8 bottled to fill!

I needed to get something bigger than a regular bowl so I wouldn’t need to keep refilling. This is a good size. It’s not too big that the water gets warm before needing to refill. The spring in the lid makes it easier to add the water to the stand without spilling. It’s not too heavy either for the amount it holds. Good purchase

Works just like the big office bottled water dispensers – just gravity.
My cat has several of the pumped/stainless steel units, but they always need cleaning, new filters, etc etc.
AS SOON AS I LOADED THIS AND SET IT DOWN he ran to drink from it…usually he sniffs at it and circles around before drinking!
And, since its clear, it’s easy to see when it needs to be filled, and, being just a few parts, very easy to clean!!
Might be a little handier if it were dishwasher safe, but it’s not like it’s THAT hard to clean, either.
This was a pleasant surprise. If the other cats are as enthusiastic about it, I’ll be getting more of them.
No filters, no cord to plug unplug to clean, no slime to deal with on the pump parts.
IMO, this is just a better, simpler, water dispenser for cats.

Although my dog is not a fan of this water system, i feel it’s very useful. I purchased it for outdoor use, and now feel it’s better suited to indoor use. There are too many leaves and insects that fall into it outdoors, so it requires constant cleaning. Otherwise though, it’s a nice watering system.

We bought this so our pup could have water out on our porch when we took him out on the long leash, so he could run in the yard. We only keep it half filled so we could clean it more often. Being he’s a small dog & he’s the only dog we have, the water doesn’t get emptied very fast, so we want to make sure his water is as fresh as possible. It’s easy to clean with a long bristle bottle brush. The opening is plenty wide for that. I especially like that after I screw on the cap, I can turn it upside down & it won’t leak on my way back to its holder. I just set the bottle in the holder & make sure the spindle goes up into the cap, then I firmly push on the top & it hastens the flow of the water as it flows into the pan. The best waterproof we’ve ever had.
