It’s a good look and I left all the material on, just tucked the excess behind the belts running end. It holds the locked position and I’ve used the bottle opener more than enough times. Sturdy good looking belt that’s holding up to everyday use. UPDATE: the pottom pin fell out March 27th lasted 3 months, I was able to use a paper clip and create a little jig to hold it all together and it’s working for now with no noticable change to function or look
