Love that these do not have a straw of any kind, but particularly not a plastic star like other funtainers do because my toddler was biting his way through those straws in about a week. Replacing that many straws was getting expensive, so this bottle is a great alternative. It’s insulated. It has a drinking spout that is fully concealed when the lid is shut (thank you for keeping out dirt and gems from the spout), and has a place to write your name on the carrying handle! Once the lid is open it is NOT spill proof. We’ve had maybe two incidents when the push button to the lid got pushed on accident by some other item pressed up against it inside a very full backpack which caused a spill when the backpack was tipped to the side. But the tradeoff of not having to buy expensive plastic straws was worth the rare spill. It is 100% leakproof when the lid is closed.

I got these as an upgrade for my 5-year-old as he was biting through the silicone straws in the smaller cups faster than I could replace them. I like that he can’t bite through the spout and he HAS knocked them over a few times now (with the lid clasped shut) and it hasn’t spilled. They definitely can take a beating and don’t break! Cleaning is a little complicated. There is a rubber gasket around the seal that I’ve yet to figure out how to get off so I can do a proper clean. The bottle itself is tall and slender, so getting the dish sponge to the bottom is difficult. I would definitely invest in something like a bottle brush.

What I like about this thermos bottle is that it is solidly build. We have used so many water bottles – both insulated, and not – and almost every one of them had one or two very flimsy components that broke off. Either some very brittle plastic cap, or some connector was damaged and the bottle was of no use any longer due to it leaking.
This bottle, however, withstood a lot of abuse. Dropping it multiple times on concrete, and it still works well and is leak-proof. It holds both hot and cold beverages at its temperature for the day (likely for longer). In our case, we use it for day camps, and other single-day events. The design and disassembly of the bottle is relatively simple, which also aids in cleaning it – which can be conveniently done in the dishwasher.
As a general tip for insulated bottles: If you need to keep a liquid cold for longer period of time, I would suggest pre-chilling the bottle (ideally open) in a fridge/freezer. Similarly, if you need your drink to be hot for the maximum amount of time, preheat the inside by filling it with hot water (a few oz are plenty) and swirl it around, so the inside layer is well preheated. The bottle was perfect for my 6 year old son. The button to open the lid makes it much easier for the little ones to use, as does the click to close the lid.
The mouthpiece was also great because it encourages you to learn not to put your whole spout in your mouth when drinking.
The charging handle seems very sturdy and even has a rubberized texture to make it easier to grip.
And finally, the amount of storage is also perfect because it doesn’t leave the bottle heavy when it’s full, nor does it run out so quickly.
Oh, and it doesn’t leak either.

Great bottle, keeps the temperature for a long time. However, you have to put the already cold water inside. If you put the liquid at room temperature and put it in the refrigerator, I noticed that it doesn’t freeze the water inside lol, it maintains the temperature at which the liquid was placed inside. But if you add ice cream, it stays very cool for a long time, even if you’re at the beach, which is a hot place. Approved! It doesn’t sweat, it doesn’t leak, it’s super easy to carry.
